This marks the third year that Prof. Nguyen Thanh Liem has participated in this annual scientific event organized by Vitech in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific.
About the Speaker
Prof. Nguyen Thanh Liem, MD, PhD is Director of the Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology, a Labor Hero of Vietnam, and former Director of the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital.
He is recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading medical experts and a pioneering scientist in the fields of pediatric minimally invasive surgery, stem cell research and applications, and gene technology.
In 2019, Prof. Liem received the prestigious Nikkei Asia Prize in recognition of his outstanding contributions to regenerative medicine and cell therapy.
