Successful Vitech Cell Culture Day 2024 (2nd Annual Event)
On July 30, 2024, Vitech hosted the Vitech Cell Culture Day 2024 event, focusing on “Comprehensive Solutions in Immunotherapy Development.” Now in its second year, this annual event was held in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Vitech‘s official distributor for over 11 years, to share insights into cell research solutions.
This year’s event featured presentations from leading experts:
Prof. Nguyễn Thanh Liêm, Director of the Vinmec Stem Cell and Gene Technology Research Institute, discussed “Cancer Treatment with Immune Cells and CAR-T Therapy.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cấn Văn Mão, Head of the Department of Pathophysiology at the Military Medical Academy, spoke on “The Potential of CAR-T Cell Therapy in Treating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.”
The event gathered many experts from Thermo Fisher Scientific, as well as doctors, scientists, researchers, and customers of Vitech & Thermo. Discussions centered on the latest trends and future prospects for immunotherapy in Vietnam, particularly the promising CAR-T cell therapy.
Mr. Đặng Vũ Long, Deputy Sales Director of Vitech, highlighted that this event was an opportunity to provide the latest updates on trends and prospects in immunotherapy. The event also introduced Thermo Fisher Scientific‘s comprehensive solutions, aimed at supporting customers in optimizing the transition from research to clinical and commercial production.
The event also showcased the latest cell research equipment, including the CTS Rotea system, the EVOS M5000 inverted fluorescence microscope, and the Varioskan LUX multifunctional plate reader, among other devices from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
