Vitech and Stem Cell Institute Forge Strategic Partnership through MoU Signing.
On July 27, 2024, at the headquarters of Vitech Scientific Development Co., Ltd., a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was successfully signed between the Stem Cell Institute, University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, and Vitech Scientific Development Co., Ltd. (the authorized distributor of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Vietnam). This event marks a significant step forward in the strategic partnership between two leading entities in the field of biomedical research and cellular biology solutions in Vietnam.
For over a decade, Vitech as the official distributor of Thermo Fisher Scientific, has been a trusted partner, providing a wide range of solutions for stem cell research in Vietnam. The company has supplied various research equipment and chemicals, such as automatic cell counters, cell culture flasks, Gibco cell culture media and reagents, automated cell washing and processing systems, and the Attune flow cytometry system. Meanwhile, the Stem Cell Institute has been a pioneer in biomedical research and education in Vietnam, with a mission to train high-quality personnel and develop advanced technological solutions. Throughout this journey, Vitech has been a reliable partner, contributing significantly to the new advancements that add valuable contributions to the community.
During the signing ceremony, both parties discussed and agreed on a promising area of cooperation: the establishment of a Cell Culture Training Center (CCTC). This center will be guided by leading experts from the Stem Cell Institute, equipped with state-of-the-art technology provided by Vitech, and continuously supported by Thermo Fisher Scientific through its authorized distributor, Vitech, which has been operating in Vietnam for over a decade.
