Novex pre-cast gel comes in two types:

Novex Tris-Glycine Gel is a polyacrylamide gel designed for electrophoresis of diverse samples based on traditional Laemmli chemical methods. Novex Tris-Glycine Gels provides highly efficient protein electrophoresis, even in samples containing high concentrations of detergents and salts. In addition, the Novex Tris-Glycine Mini Gel is also designed in WedgeWell format, making it easy to load samples with sample amounts up to 60 μL.

Novex Tricine Gel is a modified form of Tris-Glycine Gel, in which Tris-Glycine is replaced by Tricine in the Running Buffer. This gel is optimized for the separation of proteins and peptides with small molecular weight

Novex Tris-Glycine Gel

- High Efficiency: High proteolytic capacity for band stable quality
- Wedge-shaped well: Allows loading sample up to 60 μL.
- Rapid electrophoresis conditions: Allows rapid separation of your proteins in a constant electric field in no more than 60 minutes
- Flexible: SDS-free composition allows protein electrophoresis in the non-denatured or denatured form

Novex Tricine Gel

- Allows separation of proteins with molecular weights as low as 2.5kDa
- Suitable for direct protein sequencing application after dialysis transfer onto PVDF membrane
- Tricine Buffer system helps to minimize the variation of prrotein due to low pH
- Minimize protein loss during dialysis
